Irish tenor banjo practice tool
Bodhrán Metronome
Practice Irish rhythms with overlapping bodhrán samples. Each beat cycles through sound slots A, B, and C; each slot can be assigned any sample from a dropdown.
Sound slots
Assign a real audio sample to each slot. The beat buttons below only choose A, B, or C, so you can change sounds without changing the rhythm pattern.
Beat pattern
Click each beat to cycle through A → B → C → A. For a jig, use C A A B A A if C is clack, A is soft, and B is loud.
Practice note
In a 6/8 jig, the main pulses are usually felt on beats 1 and 4. Try setting the pattern to C A A B A A, with C as clack, A as soft, and B as loud.
